2 Months Summer Internships:
Students in their first year from the following streams are available for internship
for a tentative period of 2 months starting from mid-May (after the completion of 2nd semester)
till mid-July (start of the 3rd semester).
- M. Stat. (Master of Statistics)
- M.S. QE (M. S. in Quantitative Economics)
- M.Tech. CS (Computer Science)
- M.Tech. CrS (Cryptology and Security)
- M.Tech. QROR (Quality Reliability & Operations Research)
- M.Math (Masters in Mathematics)
Interested companies are requested to send the
duly filled in Summer Internship Form (SIF) by
email to plccom@isical.ac.in.
6 Months Internships:
Students in their final year from the following streams are available for internship
for a period of 6 months starting from January till July.
- M.Tech. CrS (Cryptology and Security)
- M.Tech. QROR (Quality Reliability & Operations Research)
Interested companies are requested to send the
duly filled in Six Month Internship Form by
email to plccom@isical.ac.in.
Process and Rules
- Interviews will take place over the entire year with multiple companies in each slot. The placement committee will try to ensure that the slots are made according to the salary offered by the company and students’ interest
- It is however possible that sometimes companies that are more preferred are scheduled later due to delay in response from companies.
- For two month summer internship, a student who have already received an offer are only allowed to sit for those companies coming in further slots that pay a stipend that is greater than or equal to 2 times their current offer.

For six month internships, a student who has already received an offer is allowed to sit for those companies that pay a stipend that is greater than or equal to

2 times their current offer if the new stipend amount is less than 1 lakh

1.5 times their current offer, if the new stipend is greater than or equal to 1 lakh
- Any student receiving multiple offers has to decide which offer they want to accept by the end of the slot. In case such information is not conveyed, the placement committee has the discretion to make said decision for them. The students are advised to have pre decided their preference order.
