► A candidate must hold a graduate/ post graduate degree with 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 5 or 10 + 2 + 3 + 2,
with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./
M.Com. or equivalent).
► Candidates with 10 + 3 (Engineering diploma) + 3 (lateral entry into B.E./ B.Tech.) with at least 60% marks
or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E.), or with 10 + 2 + 4 (B.Sc.) with
at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Sc.), or with qualified CA/CS/ICWA/CMA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA/CS/ICWA/CMA considered together) are also eligible.
► For SC/ST and Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates, the qualifying marks for eligibility shall
be 55% or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
► The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks even if the degree awarding Institute provides marks
in CGPA system. Their admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the eligibility of a candidate will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10-point scale.
► Candidates, who are in the final year, are also eligible to apply provided they appear in the final examination
and complete other academic requirements as specified above by Tuesday, 30th June 2026. For such cases, admission will be provisional subject to submission of final mark sheet by Monday, 30th November 2026.
► In case of a foreign degree, the equivalence of the foreign degree needs to be
certified by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview based on their score in the PGDBA Admission
Test 2026. For woman and transgender candidates, additional 2 marks will be awarded as the gender diversity score for this shortlisting. This additional marks will NOT be considered for the final selection.
A candidate's final score for selection is calculated on the basis of Table 1, which indicates the
components and their weightage to be used for the final selection to PGDBA for the batch 2026-28.

#: Engineering Diploma Results will be considered only for those candidates who have done Engineering
Diploma after Class X.
*: For computing the percentage of marks obtained in Class XII, the aggregate marks of all subjects that
appear in the mark sheet or grade sheet would be considered irrespective of whether the Board considers
them for calculation of percentage.
$: If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the equivalent CGPA on a 10-point scale will be considered.
For work experience, a maximum of seven points will be awarded based on the length of service, represented as x, (in completed months) as on 31st December 2025 as given in the Table 3. Only work experience after the completion of the qualifying degree will be considered. Internship/ apprenticeship/ article-ship/ training/ project/work done as an integral part of curricular requirement or any type of unpaid work will not be considered. The work experience claimed by the candidate must be supported by a letter from the employer(s) with authorized signatory on company letterhead stating the start date, end date, position/designation, and a brief description of the role/responsibility. It is necessary to submit the payslip(s) from each employer(s). For self-employed and family businesses, proof of company registration/ relevant licenses/ taxes paid are to be furnished.

All of the above performance indicators shall be considered in order to arrive at the final merit list. Minimum qualification in accordance with the above-mentioned eligibility criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for admission into PGDBA. Any suppression of fact or false information will lead to rejection of candidature at any stage of the selection process. Further, it is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain that he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria. The offer/admission may be terminated at any time if it comes to the notice of PGDBA office that the candidate doesn't fulfil the eligibility criteria.
As per the Government of India stipulations for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS and Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates. In case of OBC-NCL, EWS & PwBD, the certificate must conform to the following formats. Further, OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must be issued on or after 01 April 2025.
Any dispute concerning Admission to the PGDBA Batch 2026-28 would be subject to jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Kolkata only.
