The museum is open to the visitors from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. on all working days of the Institute (Monday to Friday). Admission to the museum is free. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the museum. For the use of archival material, prior permission from the Chairman of the Museum and Archives Committee is needed.

Due to renovation of "Amrapali Building", the PCMMM&A has temporary been shifted to the 4th floor of the Library (SN Bose Bhavan)
