About Me
I am a Ph.D. student at the Machine Intelligence Unit (MIU), Indian Statistical
Institute (ISI), Kolkata, India, working under the supervision of Prof.
Sushmita Mitra. I have completed the master’s degree in engineering (M.Tech.) in 2013, with specialization in
Software Engineering availing GATE scholarship, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, West Bengal
University of Technology, Kolkata, India. Prior to this I had completed the Masters (M.Sc.) and Bachelors [B. Sc. (Hons.)]
degrees in Computer Science during 2011 and 2009 respectively. My broad research interests include computer vision, pattern
recognition, and their applications on biomedical image analysis.
