S. Bell in 1964. This is famously known as Bell\u2019s theorem and has been considered to be the \u2018most profound discovery of Science\u2019 by some physicists. Bell theorem shows that quantum world is not compatible with the twin concepts of local-realism propounded by Einstein in a work famously identified as EPR paradox. Various experiments establish that nature is indeed incompatible with local-realism. In this talk we shall discuss the issues related to the discovery of Bell\u2019s theorem in a simplest possible way.
