The Postgraduate Diploma in Statistical and Computational Genomics (PGDSCG) is a one-year intensive programme designed to equip students with strong statistical, computational, and analytical skills essential for modern genomics-driven biomedical research.

Eligibility: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have any of the following qualifications:
an M Sc / MS or equivalent degree in any branch of science;
a B Tech / B E in any branch of Engineering/Technology;
an MBBS / B Pharm degree.
Professionals currently working in the biomedical genomics, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industries who meet the above eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to apply.
Location: The programme will be offered at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata. All classes will be conducted offline/on campus at ISI, Kolkata.
Duration: The total duration of the Postgraduate Diploma programme is one year, comprising two regular semesters.
Reservation: Reservation of seats will be applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.
Fees: The course fee structure is designed to be affordable and inclusive, in accordance with institute norms.

Waiver of Tuition Fees:
Candidates whose family incomes are Rs. 5 lakh or below may submit their Income Certificates (issued by the State/Central Government) in order to avail waiver of Tuition Fee or the benefit of reduced tuition fee after taking the physical admission.
Policy for candidates whose family incomes are Rs. 5 lakh or below:
full (100%) remission of tuition fee for students whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum;
partial (66.67%) remission of tuition fee for students whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh per annum and Rs. 5 lakh per annum, both inclusive.
Accommodation: No hostel accommodation will be provided to students.
