Candidates selected
for Counselling for JRF in Statistics Selection Tests held on 09 May 2010
The following candidates
have qualified the written test and interview conducted for selecting research
fellows in the Statistics programme of Indian Statistical Institute. The
candidates are requested to attend a Counselling session which will be
organised in the Dean's Office of our Institute, on 27
July, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.. The candidates are also requested to visit all the
units (SMU, ASU, BIRU), any day during 21 - 26 July, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and
interact with the Head and other faculty members of each unit to get a first
hand knowledge about the research areas being offered.
The final offer letter
awarding the fellowship will be issued only after the candidates attend the
Counselling session and indicate their choice of research area/unit.
The candidates must submit
documentary evidences of passing the minimum qualifying examination, by
September 30, 2010.
The candidates, who will not attend the Counseling
session, will not be awarded fellowship.
