Indian Statistical Institute since January 01,1982.Graduated from Calcutta
University with Honours in Statistics in B.A.,with Statistics in M.A. and
got Ph.D. in Statistics(in the area of Sample Survey) under Prof.H.K.Nandi's
supervision.
The main area
of research interest is 'Survey Sampling' and a subsidiary area is 'Realability
and Life Testing'.

interest : Mean square error estimation in multi-stage sampling, Analytical
study of complex surveys, Randomized response surveys and Small area estimation.
